The Southeast Health District, Call Center is seeking a highly qualified candidate to fill the full-time, salaried position of Customer Service Representative based in Waycross, GA.

Job Responsibilities
Under limited supervision, provides exceptional customer service and administrative support for the District Call Center by answering inbound calls, assisting clients with Health Department programs and services, scheduling appointments accurately, conducting next-day reminder and missed appointment calls, and ensuring callers receive timely and accurate information. Provides call coverage and support for county health departments as needed, delivers low-risk nutrition education to WIC clients in accordance with program guidelines, and assists with client intake and workflow processes utilizing systems such as M&M, GA-WIC, and DHD. Also assists with preparing and distributing materials to county health departments, processing daily money reports and bank deposits as needed, and performing other related duties in support of district operations and public health services.to improving outcomes for families with special healthcare needs.

Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma/GED and one (1) year of experience communicating information in a customer service setting are required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Computer experience (Word, EXCEL, data entry, etc.); Public Health experience; Experience working in an office and/or clinic setting; Customer Service skills; Previous Call Center experience. Bilingual-Spanish or Haitian Creole.

Southeast Health District accepts educational credential recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) and/or the US Department of Education (DOE) will be considered. SEHD will contact educational institutions to verify degree, diploma, licensure, etc.

The candidate selected for this position may be subject to pre-employment drug screening and a criminal background check.

As an employee of SEHD, in the event of an identified emergency you may be required, as a term and condition of employment, to assist in meeting the emergency responsibilities of the department.
