Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding product specifications, orders, and delivery schedules.
- Process customer orders, returns, and exchanges accurately and efficiently.
- Collaborate with production and logistics teams to provide customers with accurate lead times and shipping information.
- Investigate and resolve customer complaints related to product quality, shipping errors, or damaged goods.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, transactions, and resolutions.
- Provide technical assistance and product information to customers as needed.
Recommended Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred
- 2+ years of customer service experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical information clearly
- Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to understand and interpret customer needs related to manufacturing products and services
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes or product lifecycle management (PLM)
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents or blueprints
- Background in quality control or assurance in a manufacturing setting
