Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding product specifications, order status, and delivery schedules.
- Investigate and resolve customer complaints related to product quality, shipping errors, or service issues.
- Collaborate with production, quality control, and logistics teams to address customer concerns and expedite resolutions.
- Document and maintain accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, and resolutions in the CRM system.
- Provide product information and technical assistance to customers, including troubleshooting and usage guidance.
- Process customer orders, returns, and exchanges in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement to enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Recommended Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred
- 2+ years of customer service experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to understand and explain technical product information
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes or product lifecycle
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents or blueprints
- Certification in customer service or a related field (e.g., CX, conflict resolution)
